Our Mission
The Global Agriculture and Food Security Program (ĀŅĀ×ŗ£½Ē) is the only multilateral partnership for food and nutrition security financing, with USD $2.5 billion portfolio. With over 300 projects in the worldās poorest countries, the program has reached 20 million people. ĀŅĀ×ŗ£½Ē was launched by the G20 in the wake of the 2007ā08 food price crisis and aims to foster sustainable and resilient agriculture and food systems in the worldās most vulnerable countries. ĀŅĀ×ŗ£½Ē provides financial and technical resourcesā investment grants, technical assistance, concessional finance, and advisory servicesāto demand driven projects along the food chain, from farm to table.
